Privacy Policy

FasterDM ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that data.

When you use FasterDM, we may collect:

• Your name and email address (from Google OAuth login)
• Instagram Business account information (IDs, usernames, profile pictures)
• Your linked Facebook Page ID and access token — required by Instagram's API to send Instagram DMs, not used for a separate Facebook feature
• Campaign configurations you create (selected posts, keywords, reply templates)
• DM logs (commenter ID, message sent, status, timestamp)
• Opt-out records for users who unsubscribe from automated messages

We use your data to:

• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Send automated DMs on your behalf as configured in your campaigns
• Show you analytics on DMs sent and campaign performance
• Enforce opt-out requests from your audience
• Maintain platform security and prevent abuse

FasterDM accesses your Instagram data to provide the Service. Because Instagram's API requires a linked Facebook Page to issue messaging permissions, we also access limited data about that Page — solely to obtain your Instagram permissions, not as a separate Facebook automation feature. We do not sell or share this data with third parties. We request only the permissions necessary to operate your campaigns. You can revoke access at any time from your Facebook App Settings.

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. DM logs are retained for up to 12 months for analytics purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.

Access tokens are stored securely and transmitted over HTTPS. We use industry-standard practices to protect your data, but no system is 100% secure.

FasterDM integrates with:

• Meta (Instagram, via Facebook Login) — for account connection and messaging
• Google — for authentication
• Stripe / Razorpay — for payment processing

Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing their data use.

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction or deletion of your data
• Revoke Instagram/Facebook permissions at any time
• Opt out of automated messages (by sending "stop" to a FasterDM-powered account)

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the new policy on this page with an updated date.
